This Cookie Policy explains how OperantOS ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies on our website and application. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further details on how we collect and handle your personal information.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve performance, and provide information to the site operators. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
OperantOS uses essential cookies only. We do not use any analytics cookies, tracking cookies, advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or any other form of non-essential cookies. We do not use cookies for behavioral tracking, retargeting, cross-site tracking, or profiling.
The following table lists all cookies used by the Service:
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Authentication session management. Stores a secure token to maintain your logged-in state so you do not have to re-enter credentials on each page. | Essential / Strictly Necessary | Session (cleared on logout or token expiry) |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) verification during the authentication flow. Used to secure the OAuth/login process. | Essential / Strictly Necessary | Session (cleared after authentication completes) |
The "sb-*" prefix in cookie names includes a project-specific identifier set by Supabase. These cookies are first-party cookies set by our domain and are not shared with or accessible to third parties.
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC) and equivalent regulations such as the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), consent is not required for cookies that are "strictly necessary" for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user. Since all cookies used by OperantOS are strictly necessary for authentication (a core function you request when logging in), we are not required to display a cookie consent banner. However, we provide this policy for full transparency.
OperantOS does not set or permit any third-party cookies. Our payment processor (Stripe) may use its own cookies on its hosted payment pages during checkout, but these are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and are not set on the OperantOS domain.
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the Service. Below are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
You can also clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you clear the Supabase authentication cookie, you will be logged out of the Service and will need to sign in again.
If we change our cookie practices (for example, if we begin using additional cookies), we will update this Cookie Policy and, if required, obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service.
